This Is The Way

In the words of the great stoic philosopher Mandalorian: "This is the way."

One of my goals is to share the Design, Build, Ride curriculum through at least the galaxy.

Lest you think I'm an expert, I'm not. I'm a guy who likes to design, build, and ride bikes, who can make bikes by hand and has taught lots of people how to make bikes for 14 years. My buddy, "Mando", told me, "Steve, This is the way."

On Thursday I head to the University of California Santa Barbara to do a University Bicycle Frame Building Workshop, in their brand new facility.

So the Outback is loaded. Files, scotch pads, wrenches, hole saws, pliers, tube notcher, tube bender, welder, welding rod, tungston, cutters, helmets, jackets, jig, wooden jig (Scott), hex wrenches , multitool, drawings......

Peace Train is going with me. He says, "you know, I don't know anything about building a bike frame". Me, "ah, but you are Peace Train, and by the end of the workshop you will know how to build a frame."
