I'm a believer in restoring in school - pre-school through university - learning to use tools skillfully. And with this, value work that sustains everyday life. My observation is that knowing how to use tools anchors an adventurous life and lifelong competence. Theoretical and conceptual knowledge comes up short without tool skills.
