Pre-Tuscobia 2024

I head to Rice Lake, WI this next weekend for Tuscobia Winter Ultra. Big thank you to Chris and Helen Scotch, race organizers.

I'm really looking forward to seeing folks! Over the years I've met some of the best people on the planet in winter ultra events. Hopefully, I meet up with their dad, the ultra legend, Mark Scotch.

My nephew Andrew is coming with me.

The course should be entertaining, what with fresh snow, above freezing temps, and a nice cold rain.

I always ride single speed, which in conditions like those forecasted, means I'll be walking many miles, hopefully fewer than I pedal.
